Invisible Costume

The Kid was so pissed this Halloween when no one knew who his costume was supposed to represent. What? Hasn't every other ten-year-old wanted to dress up as Claude Rains in the 1933 version of The Invisible Man?

Every time someone asked, "And what are you supposed to be?"
He just stared ahead blankly as if to say, "What is wrong with you people?"

Hi. I just discovered your blog by accident (looking up Laura Stachel), and I've enjoyed scrolling through it. I may have to go back to the beginning and read the whole thing. I'm not in the medical field (being a graphic designer), but I do have a nine year old, and I gave birth at Alta Bates, so watching the old BPD movie was a hoot. Congrats on passing your nursing test, and good luck in your new field!

Thanks so much, Jenne. It's great that the BPD film is getting around. What an amazing document.
I'm also glad to hear that others are looking at Stachel's important work.
...Hope you're having fun with your kiddo; nine is such a great age. Thanks for reading!
